WooSun Lab ("we", "us", "our") operates the website woosunlab.co.kr and a suite of AI-powered software products. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have regarding your information.

By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Contact form submissions

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, and the message you provide.

Site visit logs

Our servers automatically record basic technical information when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, and access timestamp. These logs are used for security, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.

Meta platform API data

When our services integrate with Meta platforms (Instagram, Threads, Facebook) on behalf of an authenticated user, we receive only data the user has explicitly authorized — typically account identifiers, content scheduled for publication, publishing status, and basic profile metadata. We do not access private messages, friend lists, or any data outside the scope of the permissions you grant.

3. How We Use Information

• To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form
• To operate, maintain, and improve our products and services
• To integrate with third-party APIs (including Meta platforms) at your explicit direction
• To detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents or abuse
• To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your personal information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only as described below:

• Infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, email delivery) strictly to operate the service.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. when you authorize publishing or other integration with Instagram, Threads, or Facebook. Their handling of your data is governed by Meta's own privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
• Legal authorities when required by valid legal process under the laws of the Republic of Korea.

5. Data Retention

• Contact form messages are retained for up to 24 months for follow-up and operational reference, then deleted unless an active business relationship exists.
• Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
• API-derived content (e.g., posts published through Meta APIs) is retained only as long as required to provide the service or as the connected user account requires; you can revoke our access at any time from your Meta account settings.

6. Security

We apply industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data — including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), least-privilege access controls, segregated environments for production and development, and ongoing security review. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to harden our systems.

7. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hello@woosunlab.co.kr. We will respond within 30 days as required under the Republic of Korea Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

You may also revoke any Meta platform authorization at any time directly from your Meta account settings, which will immediately stop our access to that account's data.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us information may contact us at hello@woosunlab.co.kr.

9. International Users

Our servers and operations are based in the Republic of Korea. If you access the services from outside Korea, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in Korea, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
